Casey Halajian, varsity softball

The senior captain from Milton started off the season in great form against Fonbonne.  Casey struck out 11 batters in 7 innings of work to lead the Lady Bishops to an 11-2 win.

Halajian is also a member of the volleyball and swimming programs at Archbishop Williams.

  Craig Olson, varsity baseball

The junior from Kingston paced the Bishops offensive attack with a towering home run in the fifth inning against rival Cardinal Spellman.  Olson's efforts were part of a 14-hit barrage by the Bishops, who handed the Cardinals their first loss of the season (10-3).  

Craig is also a two-year member of the varsity hockey program.

Brian Josephine, boys lacrosse

The senior captain from Plymouth has 21 points in his last 4 league games, with the highlight being a 6 goal and 2 assist performance in a 9-7 win over Bishop Fenwick.  The Bishops are currently in second place in the Catholic Central League with a 4-1 record and are 7-2 overall. 

Josephine is a four-year member of the lacrosse program.

 Samantha McClay, girls lacrosse

The junior captain from Plymouth is presently third in the Catholic Central League in scoring with 11 goals and 17 assists for a total of 28 points.  McClay is also a member of the girls varsity hockey team.

The Lady Bishops presently have a record of 4 wins, 5 losses, and 1 tie and are hoping to qualify for the state tournament in only their second year as a varsity program.

 Kevin Louine, boys outdoor track

The freshmen from Mattapan was named the most valuable performer of the freshmen-sophomore meet held at Bishop Fenwick.  Kevin placed first in the 100-meter race, the 200-meter race, and the high jump to earn 30 points for the Bishops.

 Kristen Cook, girls tennis

The junior from led her team to a 2-1 victory at first singles Cathedral.  Kristen scored 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 and the Bishops won the match 5-0 against the Catholic Central League opponent.  Cook also participates in the girls soccer and indoor track programs at Archbishop Williams.

 Alex Knowles, softball

The junior captain from Abington went 6 for 8 with a homerun, 2 doubles, and 6 RBI in games against Fontbonne and North Quincy.  The Bishops won both games and in the process qualified for the state tournament for the 7th consecutive year.  Knowles, who plays catcher, is also a member of the girls volleyball and girls basketball teams.
