Student Activities at AWHS

Admissions Council: students who serve at Open House and assist with guided tours.  Moderator:  Mrs. Ekstrom.

Bottom Line: school Literary Magazine.  Pass in your works of art, personal writing, and poetry.

Braintree Buddies: meets each Wednesday to plan activities and outings with special needs students at Braintree High's Project Prove.

European Trip:  culturally rich fieldtrip to Europe during April Vacation, this year to Italy, Austria, and Switzerland.   Moderator:  Mrs. Ekstrom.

Mitre: this is our School Newspaper. Moderator:  Mr. Larkin.

National Honor Society: this group does fundraising and provides TUTORS.  Moderators:   Mrs. Baxter and Mrs. Skill.

Peer Leadership: Adolescent Issues Week, Great American Smoke Out; meets on Wednesdays in Guidance. 

Student Activities Council: meets every Tuesday in room 108, all welcome.  School Spirit Activities: Dances, Formals, Proms, trips, Spirit Week, Service Outreach.  Moderator:  Mrs. Loiter.

Student Activities Council Service Committee: meets each Thursday in Campus Ministry to plan service opportunities for the entire school.

Tech Crew: works with sound and lighting.  Moderator:  Mr. Lawlor.

Theater Ensemble: Fall Play and Spring Musical.  Director:  Ms. Pacillo.

Writing Club: meets weekly.
